Brothers,

It is with our deepest regret that we must inform you of the passing of Brother John Stewart. John leaves behind Cathy and five year old son John Kyle. John was an Assistant Signalman at the point of qualification. As we all know when we first started here as a member of the LIRR family that finances are tight, and he did not have the luxury of added insurance. Cathy has her hands full with a young child and will need all of us to help her through these hard times. We are appealing to you to help her. A minimal donation withdrawn from your credit union account monthly will help her. If we all allotted $5 a month, that's $1 a week, she will be financially stable until she can get on her feet. Brothers, please think how your family would survive if it were, this is a brotherhood, let's show it. Forms will be distributed and collected by all union officers.

Thank you for your support.
